Onsen
The city of Kyoto has always developed in proximity to its rich natural environment. It is not difficult to find sceneries reminiscent of its ancient past without going far from the city center. In particular, the Hidden Gems of Kyoto are areas of the city that are blessed with abundant nature, and have historically been chosen as the sites of villas and retreats of the imperial family members as well as court nobles.
You can enjoy six different types of onsen hot springs in Kyoto.
