At the tourist information centers in Kyoto, you can get pamphlets with maps and event information, as well as transit information. The staff on hand speak English, and many other languages, so you can ask questions in your native language. Look for a nearby information center during your travels in Kyoto.

【Baggage Delivery Service】
Starting from October 1st, 2024, Kyoto Tourist Information Center (in collaboration with Yamato Transport Co., Ltd.) has begun to offer a baggage delivery service for tourists. Those who use it will be able to send baggage to their accommodation in Kyoto Prefecture or Osaka City, even within the same day. To request this service, you will simply need to enter your accomodation information at the reception counter of "Kyo Navi" via a smartphone or other means.

*Since the storage space is limited, there might be times in which this service is not available. In such case, we will guide you to other service counters that allow for easy transportation of baggage.

*Size is a total of width, length and depth of the baggage.
*Same-day delivery within Kyoto Prefecture excludes: Fukuchiyama City, Maizuru City, Ayabe City, Miyazu City, Kyotango City, Ine Town, Yosano Town, parts of Kyoto City, parts of Kameoka City, parts of Nantan City and parts of Kyotanba Town.
*Osaka City is limited to: Chuo Ward, Kita Ward, Nishi Ward, Konohana Ward and Naniwa Ward.
