Kyoto City Overseas Representatives
Kyoto City, the Kyoto City Tourism Association, and the Kyoto Convention and Visitors Bureau have worked together to establish overseas offices for collecting and disseminating information on Kyoto tourism since August 2006. These offices focus on building connections with overseas media agencies, inviting them to Kyoto, and increasing media coverage abroad. As of 2025, there are now 7 Kyoto City Representatives in 6 countries around the world.

Media Coverage Support
We collect requests from overseas media wishing to cover Kyoto tourism and provide support for their activities in Japan.

For more information, please see "Request for Information Provision for Overseas Media (Japanese).” *We cannot guarantee that the interview will be featured in the final article or broadcast.
