In our recently released articles, we introduce theater performance arts such as Nohgaku and Kabuki, as well as Hogaku music, Nihon Buyo dance and Rakugo storytelling.
As a city that cherishes and continues to develop art and tradition, it should come as no surprise that Kyoto is a center for such varied performing arts. Though many of them are intertwined with each other and rooted in centuries-old traditions, they are all highly distinct in both style and the narratives they weave.
