This movie theme park features open movie sets for shooting samurai movies. The settings include Yoshihara, an old red-light district, The Pavilion of Zenigata-Heiji, a famous detective in the Edo-era (1600-1867), and the quarters of the Shinsengumi, a group of masterless samurai who policed Kyoto to protect the Tokugawa Shogun in the Edo-era.

Here you can learn about the history of Japanese film while also enjoying other attractions, including seeing samurai and ninja. You can also turn into a samurai or princess with top-rate costumes including wigs and makeup.
