From July 1, 2026, the Kiyomizu-dera Line will begin operating as a limited-time service on Okoshi Bus, operated by Keihan Bus. Running on weekdays, this sightseeing shuttle provides direct access between Kyoto Station, Keihan Shichijo Station, and popular attractions including Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Nishi Hongwan-ji Temple.
With Sightseeing Limited Express Bus operating on weekends and public holidays and the new Kiyomizu-dera Line running on weekdays, visitors can now enjoy fast and comfortable access from Kyoto Station to the Kiyomizu-dera area every day of the week. By using these dedicated sightseeing routes, visitors can also help reduce congestion on local bus services used by residents while enjoying a smoother, more comfortable travel.

2. Onboard commentary and guided walk (selected departures; reservation required)
In addition to onboard sightseeing commentary, the “One-Ride Ticket with Guided Tour” includes a guided walk from Gojo-zaka to the stage of Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
3. Same-day tickets available
One-Ride Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of travel, subject to seat availability. Payment is accepted in cash or by IC transportation card when boarding.
4. Special bonus: Limited-edition original Tomica Plan available!
A special ticket plan includes an exclusive “Keihan Bus Original Tomica,” miniature bus, with a limited-edition display card. Available while supplies last.
