Yamano is conveniently located five minutes' walk from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and 10 minutes' from the Nijo Castle. It is also very close to the Subway Karasuma Line's Marutamachi Station which is the fifth stop from Kyoto Station. On its counter seats you can casually enjoy sushi, lunchbox, a-la-carte dish and Kaiseki cuisine. It serves traditional cuisine made with Kyoto's local ingredients and selected Japanese sake brewed in Kyoto.
