NANZENJI JUNSEI
In 1839, Ryotei Shingu, a doctor practicing Dutch medicine, founded a school called "Junsei Shoin" (tangible cultural assets)before the gate of Nanzenji Temple. The building of the school is now on the restaurant's site. In Junsei, you can enjoy its special yudofu (boiled bean curd) and yudofu-kaiseki cuisine, as well as the beautiful view of its garden which still retains the old day's atmosphere.
