A traditional Japanese restaurant next to the World Heritage that you could taste Matcha. Tatsumiya is located in Uji; one of the most famous green tea growing areas in Japan, and offers dishes using matcha powdered green tea. The place started as a tea retailer around 1840 and switched to a restaurant in 1913. It has been over 90 years since we started cooking with matcha, but we offer our customers traditional Kyoto cuisine and "hospitality".
