August 16 Tokaido Shinkansen suspended all day & please do not come to Kyoto station until operations resume
Due to the Typhoon No.7(Typhoon Ampil), the Tokaido Shinkansen between Tokyo and Nagoya will be suspended in August 16.
(It has been announced that only the “Kodama” train will be available between Nagoya and Shin-Osaka)
If you are planning to travel, please change your plans.
Passengers who plan to travel between Tokyo and Kyoto Stations through are advised not to come to the station until all Tokaido Shinkansen lines have reopened.
If you wish to cancel a Shinkansen that will be cancelled, refunds can be made for one year without a fee.
