Kyoto City has been promoting various measures based on the “Kyoto Tourism Promotion Plan 2025”, formulated in FY2020, with the aim of achieving “sustainable tourism.” As the planning period for this plan will end at the end of FY2025, we are currently formulating the next plan for the period from FY2026 to FY2030.
Based on discussions at the Kyoto City Tourism Promotion Council, which is deliberating the content of the next plan, we have compiled an interim draft of the “Kyoto Tourism and MICE Promotion Plan 2030” (tentative name), and are now seeking public comments.
