Sharing information on tourism guidelines in anticipation of the Lunar New Year
Kyoto City is expecting many visitors to arrive during the Lunar New Year period (late January to early February). In preparation of the approaching busy season, we are carrying out awareness-rising activities on issues related to sightseeing.
In order to help tourists stay informed and mindful during their trip to Kyoto, we are undertaking the following measures:
1) Disseminating information in the Shinkansen concourse
We have begun displaying the enlarged and individual illustrations from the "MIND YOUR MANNERS" poster on screens found inside of the Shinkansen ticket gates concourse at JR Kyoto Station. They will be displayed from January 20th to February 9th.
2) Placing educational materials in Kansai International Airport Limousine Buses
In cooperation with Keihan Bus Co., Ltd. we have placed informational materials in the seat pockets of Kansai International Airport Limousine Buses. Tourists that take the Limousine Bus when coming to Kyoto will be able to learn more about their destination from "MIND YOUR MANNERS" and "KYOTO MACHI-QUETTE" flyers.
