Kyoto Marathon 2025 entries have opened!
Entries for the Kyoto Marathon 2025 opened at 10:00 (JST) on July 18th (Thu).
We are looking forward to a big turnout!
The course of the marathon is organized in the vicinity of the seven World Heritage Sites of Kyoto, allowing its participants to enjoy the beauty of this city and its natural landscapes.
The runners will pass through a number of picturesque areas such as Arashiyama and Kamogawa. It will also be possible to admire the panoramic view of the five mountains surrounding Kyoto from the perspective of the marathon course. Those mountains are known for being the highlight of the August "Okuribi" (bonfire) festival.
Date & Time:
February 16th (Sun), 2025 (held rain or shine)
Marathon start: 9:00 a.m.
Marathon finish: 3:00 p.m.
