Gion Matsuri’s Yamahoko Junko (Float Procession), one of Japan’s three biggest festivals; and arguably its most extravagant, is set to take place on the 17th (Thu) and 24th (Thu) of July.
The following Paid Viewing Seats for this year’s Gion Matsuri Festival are currently available for purchase:
- General seats
- “Soyokaze” (Zephyr) seats – Electric fans are installed behind these seats to protect its users from the summer heat.
- Premium seats – These seats come with a number of great benefits such as in-depth explanations during the event, provided non-alcoholic beverages and access to a buffet, among others.
*All seats come with an official guidebook and a tote bag!
*A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the tickets will be used to preserve and continue the festival.
