Kyoto Travel Congestion Forecast now available in English
The Kyoto Travel Congestion Forecast provides predictions on how congested or pleasant some areas with popular sightseeing destinations might be during different hours and days, as well as real-time information through livestream cameras in some of the popular areas.
The website also has useful information for travelling while avoiding crowds, including suggestions on places that may be less crowded even during daytime hours when other places are likely to be crowded.
Until now, we have only had a Japanese version, but now we also provide an English version. We hope visitors will find it useful to avoid crowded places and times, so they can easily, safely and comfortably enjoy their visit to Kyoto.
