The Gion Kagai Art Museum has opened within the Gion-Kobu Kaburenjo Theater on May 15, 2024.

 

Its facilities offer an in-depth look into the world, culture and history of Gion's geiko and maiko.

 

In addition to the permanent exhibition on Kagai art culture, visitors can also view the water garden and the art bar featuring mainly original drawings of historical posters of the Miyako Odori Dance Performance.
