Kyoto is a great place to enjoy not only the spring cherry blossoms, but also the autumn leaves. We open the Autumn Leaves Calendar page with information on how the colors of the leaves are changing in Kyoto for about one and a half months every year.

This year, we plan to start updating the page twice a week from late October to early December. During this time of the year, there will be night time illumination events and special openings at some temples, shrines and other venues, so we plan to also provide information on such events.
