The procession of Aoi Matsuri Festival, one of the three main annual festivals of Kyoto, will be held on May 15th (Thu). It is an elegant and faithful representation of an important historical event in Kyoto's long history. 

 

The paid viewing seats will be available for purchase starting from 10 am, Japanese Standard Time on April 8th (Tue). 

 

In addition to the general seats, there will also be "royal seats" that offer Japanese and English commentary. All seats come with an official guidebook, commemorative card and audio guide.
