teamLab Biovortex Kyoto

Japan’s Largest teamLab Museum
teamLab Biovortex Kyoto is Japan’s largest and newest teamLab museum, spanning approximately 10,000 square meters and featuring more than 50 immersive artworks. Based on the concept “Universe of Existence, Universe of Perception,” the museum invites visitors to fully immerse themselves in an ever-changing world of art, where artworks respond and evolve as they move—revealing how we are all part of the flow.

Even those who have visited teamLab’s museums in Tokyo can discover an entirely different art experience in Kyoto, including artworks making their debut here.

Just a 7-Minute Walk from Kyoto Station
Conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from Kyoto Station, teamLab Biovortex Kyoto is easy to incorporate into a Kyoto sightseeing itinerary. Open from morning until late at night, the museum is an ideal stop before visiting Kyoto’s temples and shrines, or in the evening after they close.

A Fully Indoor Art Experience
As a fully indoor museum, teamLab Biovortex Kyoto offers a comfortable art experience regardless of the weather—whether on rainy days, during Kyoto’s hot summers, or throughout the cold winter months.

Immersive Art Experiences for Families
Families can also explore immersive art spaces such as Athletics Forest, where visitors navigate a complex, three-dimensional environment and immerse themselves in a four-dimensional world that changes over time in response to their physical movements.

Another highlight is Future Park, an educational project based on the concept of collaborative creation, where children and adults can create and explore together.
