The festival procession is set to occur as scheduled.

*Same-day tickets for the procession will be sold in front of the Kyoto City Hall from 9:00 a.m. (cash payment only).

- The Gion Festival is held in a residential area where the locals go about their daily lives. Please remember to stay considerate of the local community.
- Be careful of heat stroke. Take frequent breaks and drink plenty of liquids.
- Take advantage of Kyoto's efficient public transportation when commuting to the event.
- Please follow the safety instructions of the police and staff to help prevent accidents caused by crowding.
- To avoid accidents, please refrain from bringing your bike into the spectator's area during the festival.
- Please refrain from eating and drinking while walking.
