In the West Building you’ll find stunning artistic handicrafts including ukiyoe prints, lacquerware and imitation swords on the first floor, while the second floor has an array of handicraft products and other delightful items from throughout Japan. In the East Building, you can participate in a number of fun workshops on the third floor. Head to the second floor if you’re looking for Kyoto-made handicraft products. You’ll find elegant craft products to suit modern interiors, and even locally made sweets.

Kimono Station Kyoto

 Kimono Station Kyoto has a mission of promoting the fun of wearing kimono. The store’s stock changes each month in accordance with the season or a theme, to bring customers the very latest kimonos and accessories. You can also participate in workshops in ikebana (flower arrangement) and dyeing (bookings required for workshops). The staff wear kimono, so check out their outfits for inspiration. They’re also happy to answer all your questions about kimono.
