The Kyoto Autumn Leaves Calendar 2024 was released to give timely information on when and how the foliage changes in popular spots, including temples and shrines. The information has been updated today.

You can still see the last remnants of autumn in the maple leaves flowing on water surfaces and ginkgo tree leaves covering the ground. Since this year's autumn started late it also had a chance to stay in Kyoto for longer than usual. There are still a number of spots in the center of the city where you can enjoy viewing the colorful foliage.
