This pathway will be decorated with beautiful Japanese flower arrangements and lanterns.

The play of light and shadow creates a peaceful Japanese ambience that exhibits the nature and culture of Saga and Arashiyama. LED lanterns provided by ROHM Co. Ltd.

 

The illumination of the Togetsukyo Bridge, the surrounding foothills and waterfront make a magnificent night scene.

 

From Nonomiya-jinja Shrine to Okochi Sanso Garden, both sides of the walkway will be lit up, rendering a truly fantastic scene.

 

In cooperation with the Kyoto Ikebana Association, large flower arrangement pieces will be on display at 9 locations along the path.
