Ohara is a rural village located in the northern part of the city, where the Oharame Festival is held every year. This mountain village, mentioned in “The Tale of the Heike,” will be a lively place during the festival.
During the climax of the festival, events like the Oharame Historical Procession, and Oharame Costume Wearing (reservations required) will be held.
