This event celebrates the refinement of the famous 17th century geisha from Kyoto’s Shimabara district, Yoshino Tayu. Visitors will also be treated to the impressive sight of Yoshino Tayu and her young girl attendants and manservants travel from in front of the nearby Genko-an, as well as a memorial service, and a service before Yoshino Tayu’s grave.
An open-air tea ceremony will also be performed by Shimabara’s “Tayu” herself.
Will include three types of tea ceremony (Open-air, tea ceremony in the Iho-an seating area, and sen-cha tea ceremony), and dim sum
