Hatsu-Uma Daikon-daki Ceremony

Sanzen-in Temple is nestled away in the rural Ohara region, and appears to be even more solemn in winter. Amidst this winter scenery, participants in this ceremony will eat piping hot white radishes (daikon). After prayers are made, the locally grown daikon will be cooked and served to visitors free of charge.
