The Nitten is Japan’s largest art organization, and this event brings the Nitten’s exhibition to Kyoto. The exhibition includes the five sections of Japanese-style paintings, Western-style paintings, sculpture, craft as art, and sho (calligraphy), and will include the core pieces that travel to exhibitions around the country, as well as pieces related to Kyoto and Shiga prefectures. This event will be held at three different locations: Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art Annex, Kyoto International Exhibition Hall (Miyako Messe), and the Japan Design Museum.
