Chrysanthemum Festival

This traditional festival was last held in 1899 before it was revived in 1997. It is held to pray for longevity and to ward off disasters. There will also be dances performed with great elegance by traditional court performers wearing chrysanthemum hair ornaments. Chrysanthemum sake will be served after the performance.
