News on the Recent Earthquake in the Kansai Region

This morning, an earthquake occurred. It has been reported that the epicenter was in the northern part of Osaka. There is no fear of a tsunami. The operation of railways was suspended in Osaka and Kyoto. The Kyoto City Subway and Buses are running. The bullet trains have stopped. The Kansai International Airport and Kobe Airport are operating as normal. Please act calmly, stay away from potentially dangerous areas, ask others close by for advice and information.

The Kansai Airport express "Haruka" has stopped from Kyoto to Kansai Airport. Also, the Kansai Airport Limousine Bus has also suspended its operation due to the closure of highways.

The Kyoto International Manga Museum is closed for inspection.
